Senior Analog High-Speed and Characterization Engineer [Israel]


 
NVIDIA Networking business unit, is searching for a Post Silicon high-speed characterization engineer, to take ownership of all IC high-speed characterization efforts in NVIDIA Networking IC PE team. We require a hardworking, driven, passionate engineer, who thrives in high-paced and dynamic environments, and closes tasks quickly within a short period of time. What you'll be doing:
  • We are looking for an engineer to bring new capabilities of high-speed signal characterization to the post-silicon group, enabling deeper understanding and improved margin-setting of high-speed tests in NVIDIA ICs.
  • The position includes leading of the characterization of IC high-speed domain, both on ATE and system platforms. Investigating Tx, Rx and PLL parameters and their dependence on Si process, voltage, and temperature.

    We require applicants that have experience in SerDes characterization/validation, are familiar with the measurement tools (sampling scope, spectrum analyzer, BERT, …) as well as debug techniques and ATE platforms. Candidates are expected to define methodologies and plans, starting from pre Si phase, analyze results and present them to a large forum.
What we need to see:
  • BSc in electrical engineering
  • Experience of over 5 years in SerDes/High-speed validation/characterization.
  • Detailed understanding of debug methods and high-speed signal validation tools and methods.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Task-force leading experience
Ways to stand out in the crowd:
  • Hand on experience with scopes and lab equipment
  • FW Programming experience
  • Experience on ATE
  • Knowledge of process/ temperature/voltage effect on digital vs. analog circuits.
