Human Resource Manager (WFH) [Malaysia]


 

As an HR Manager at Energy1 Asia, you will build and continuously revise the human resource strategies and functions across the organization from the ground up. You will manage the recruitment process, performance management, training and development programs and develop efficient HR practices and strategies that align with the company goals.

You will have the sole responsibility for the functions, and your direct reporting line will be to the Head of Business Development.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage effective end-to-end recruitment strategies to attract and hire the best candidates
  • Design and implement an effective performance management system to track and analyse the employee's monthly KPIs
  • Curate and plan training and development programs based on performance evaluations and the company’s goals
  • Plan and organise employee engagement events and activities in a remote setting with a minimal budget
  • Establish key HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives
  • Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company goals
  • Continuously conducting research to stay up to date about HR trends and innovations
  • Handle employee relations, grievances, and employee disciplinary issues

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of startup experience, preferably within a digital or startup environment.
  • Practical experience with various digital HR tools and strategies (e.g., Skype/Ms. Teams, interviews, structured interviews, technical assessments).
  • Candidates with Headhunting experience for Startups will have an advantage
  • Have a growth and data-driven mindset to drive changes
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM4,500.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
