The Role: To provide 1 to 1 support to a socialable young lady, in her own home and to provide personal care. This is a part-time position, but with the view to become a full-time position with a group of well-established carers.
Main Duties
· To accompany within the sensory den at home
· To assist with standing transfers, but hoisting occasionally needed (Full training to be given)
· Accompanying with hydrotherapy
· Assisting with toileting, and bathing
· Accompany and assist to access the community
· Keeping track of appointments and general admin duties
· To assist with equipment, such as Rifton pacer walking frame, wheelchairs, and communication aids
· To facilitate activities
· To assist with feeding and drinking

Car owner with driving license and business insurance is essential.
Hours: 18 – 26 hours per week
This will start with 3 mornings per week, and occasional weekends.
There is hope to attend twice monthly evening/weekend friendship groups. Local to Dorset.
